Yusuke urameshi.
Yusuke is who the story is mainly about and starts out with,see the yu yu hakusho story starts out when yusuke is hit bye a car and dies.Luckly for him the spirit world gives him a second chance but when he comes back to life he has a special abillity the"spirit gun" but why? because the spirit world made him a "spirit detective" so he could help them fight demons and save the spirit world.Also he's not full human later in the seires he unlocks a demon power making him stronger.

Hiei.
Hiei is a character who makes his apperance in the 6th episode "the stolen relics". He's a black flame demon who becomes the first villen that yusuke has to fight. But his life started way before that,heie grew up in an ice demon tribe where he was made fun of and beat up because he was different so he found a man who trained him to open his jangon eye.After he hade opened his jangon eye hiei wanted to rule the human world,but thanks to yusuke he soon changed and joined the detectives with yusuke.He became a great help to the team while fighting evil especally when he developed the "black dragon attack". |

Kurama.
Kurama is a fox demon who lived a life of evil he was a theif. He appears in the 6th episode with hiei "the stolen relics". But he shortly quit's hieis group and joind yusuke to help his sick step mother.He's a great fighter and he helps the team alote with his "Rose Whip". |

Kuwabara kazuma.
Kuwabara has been in the series sence the 1st episode.Theres not much to say about him except that he's grumpy,and is alote of help to the team because of his special martial arts skill and his "Spirit Sword". |
